GANTZ Blu-ray – Complete Series (2004)

GANTZ Blu-ray presents the complete 2004 science-fiction action and psychological horror anime series in a high-definition, multilingual collection designed for compatible Blu-ray players worldwide.

Kei Kurono is a disillusioned high school student whose life changes abruptly when he and his childhood friend Masaru Kato are killed while attempting to rescue a man who has fallen onto the tracks of a subway station.

Instead of dying, they suddenly find themselves transported to a mysterious apartment together with several other people who have recently lost their lives.

Inside the room stands an enormous black sphere known as Gantz, an enigmatic device that provides the group with advanced weapons, specialized combat suits and terrifying missions.

The participants are ordered to hunt strange alien beings hidden throughout Tokyo while ordinary people remain completely unaware of the battles taking place around them.

Survival earns points and the possibility of eventually escaping Gantz, while failure can result in a second and permanent death.

As Kei participates in increasingly brutal missions, his personality and understanding of life begin to change while the true purpose of Gantz remains a disturbing mystery.

The series combines science fiction, graphic action, psychological tension, horror and mature drama with the distinctive digital and 3D visual experimentation of early-2000s anime.

GANTZ Blu-ray includes the complete 26-episode television series, covering both the First Stage and Second Stage.
